Veeam partners with Kyndryl for enhanced cyber resilience

Veeam Software has sealed its first Global System Integrator (GSI) alliance with Kyndryl, the largest technology infrastructure services provider worldwide. The symbiosis formed between the two tech giants aims to deliver strategic and comprehensive cyber resiliency to customers.

Under this agreement, Kyndryl has become a Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP), leveraging its professional services and technical implementation prowess to integrate with Veeam's solutions. The alliance aims to secure robust cyber resilience, streamlined vendor transitions, modern data protection solutions, and enhanced operational efficiencies for clients.

The global strategic relationship focuses on offering resiliency services backed by cutting edge technology, skilled infrastructure management, and incident recovery services. The end goal is effective recovery from adverse conditions such as cyber incidents, human error and hardware failures. In addition, it assists enterprises seamlessly transition to secure and compliance rich cloud-based infrastructure, providing scalable and customisable hybrid and multi-cloud backup and recovery options.

The synergy of this partnership also helps customers simplify and fortify data protection across the enterprise, using a holistic approach on a singular platform for effective and reliable data protection with enhanced defence for modern Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, data, and systems. With integrated automation, businesses will now have the flexibility to adapt to changing needs and industry standards.

This collaboration amalgamates Kyndryl's expertise in managed security services and infrastructure management with Veeam's capabilities, resulting in a harmonised data protection, optimised ransomware recovery, cost efficiency, operational productivity, and regulatory compliance, alongside seamless data mobility, cloud-native environments, and advanced security features.
