Check Point Software launches cybersecurity Partner Program
Check Point Software Technologies, a provider of cybersecurity solutions globally, has officially announced the initiation of its new Partner Program. In response to the swiftly changing cybersecurity landscape, this programme is primarily designed to enhance partner capabilities and stimulate growth.
The cybersecurity industry is currently undergoing rapid expansion and transformation. Canalys has reported that global expenditure on cybersecurity recently reached US $19 billion, indicative of the escalating demand for integrative security systems. As technological advancements continue to unfurl, cyber threats simultaneously evolve, amplifying the requirement for a comprehensive cybersecurity platform able to guard with respect to edge, network, cloud, and other components. Hence, organizations worldwide are frequently seeking advice through the channel about cybersecurity solutions, rules and regulations, and approaches to free up cyber resilience. Channel partners are fittingly poised to effectively convey the worth of cybersecurity solutions and quell concerns relating to present and future threats.
Serving with a partner-devoted business model, Check Point's fresh Partner Program reinforces commitment towards partners and maximizes mutually beneficial growth. Francisco Criado, Check Point's VP of Global Partner Ecosystem Organisation, stated, "In light of the current climate and increasing rate of cyber threats, we are launching a new partner program to help our partners accelerate their efforts in providing the best cybersecurity. We are excited to continue this journey with our partners, providing them with the best tools, resources, and support they need to thrive in our dynamic industry."
The revised Partner Program aims to expand partners' performance and satisfaction with an emphasis on increasing deal closure rates and accelerating quoting processes for quicker customer response. Partners are enabled to efficiently cross-sell and up-sell advanced security solutions from Check Point's wide-ranging portfolio, encompassing various attack surfaces and addressing the needs in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), email security, cloud environments, Software-Defined Wide-Area Network (SD-WAN), and mobile security. The program's continuous upgrades are designed to harness the potential of these groundbreaking technologies and ensure that partners are well-prepared to confront the diverse challenges of cybersecurity.
Partners are now classified into statuses of Advanced, Professional, Premier, and Elite based on the size of their business opportunity under the new, consolidated tiering model. The program also introduces a customer-focused pricing framework with substantial discount structures and an increase in deal registrations by 100%. Check Point is also offering free certifications to assist partner-level compliance, while partners can also undergo additional specialist training and certification that could lead to further discounts.
Stephen Donaldson, Security Team Lead, Atturra Managed Services, expressed his positive take on the changes, stating, "Check Point's revamped 2024 next-generation partner program signifies a significant shift in structure and approach, introducing a simplified framework designed to empower and deliver tangible benefits to the partner network." He specifically appreciated the new structure that simplifies the understanding of ongoing obligations related to bookings and certifications. Additionally, the product areas' specialisations help partners further enhance their discounting and training offerings.
