Ataya named 'Cool Vendor' in 2023 Gartner report for connectivity solutions
Santa Clara-based Ataya, a pioneering unified connectivity vendor, has been recognised as a Cool Vendor in the 2023 Gartner Cool Vendors for Communications Service Providers Report. The company considers this recognition as a testimony of its commitment to innovation and transformative influence on industrial network connectivity.
Ataya's public launch of Harmony took place exactly a year ago. Today, the product is seen to be maintaining meaningful momentum. It stands out as the only universal connectivity platform able to effectively tackle the ongoing development of complex industrial systems. It achieves such effectiveness by bridging various industrial network protocols, including Wi-Fi, 5G, and Ethernet.
In its report, Gartner underscored the fundamental challenge Communications Service Providers (CSPs) face in today's marketplace. That is the need to identify unique sources of value and utilise the right tools to capture them whilst enhancing infrastructure agility and security. Ataya is positioning itself as a key partner for CSPs and Enterprise CIOs in this regard. By facilitating the deployment of advanced connectivity technologies, the company aims to equip CSPs with the necessary tools without compromising a unified security framework across all network types.
Responding to this recognition by Gartner, Rajesh Pazhyannur, CEO of Ataya, expressed his delight and gratitude. He stated that "Harmony's Universal Connectivity is a direct result of our attentive and responsive engagement with our customers." He saw this recognition as an "affirmation of the dedication and innovative spirit of the Ataya team."
The report, 'Cool Vendors for Communications Service Providers', authored by Gartner researchers Mike Edholm, Kosei Takiishi, Amol Nerlekar, Mounish Rai, and Peter Liu, provides a careful analysis of the contemporary market space. However, Gartner pointedly does not endorse any specific vendor, product or service depicted in its research publications. Furthermore, it does not advise technology users to select only those vendors with the highest ratings or another designation. Its publications feature the opinions of its research team and should not be interpreted as statements of fact. It disclaims all warranties, expressed or implied, relating to this research, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Gartner's recognition of Ataya as a 'Cool Vendor' not only signals the company's innovative drive but also contributes to solidifying its position as a leading player in addressing the complexities of modern industrial network connectivity.
