Ataccama names Systemation Benelux distributor for AI push
Wed, 9th Sep 2026 (Today)
Ataccama has appointed Systemation as its authorised distributor across the Benelux, expanding a partnership that has been in place for nearly five years.
Under the arrangement, Systemation will continue working directly with customers while recruiting, training and supporting a broader network of reseller and implementation partners in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. It will also keep providing consulting, implementation and customer success services to Ataccama users in the region.
The agreement gives Ataccama a wider route to market in the Benelux as companies embed artificial intelligence in more day-to-day business processes and scrutinise the quality of the data behind those systems. It also gives Systemation a formal distribution role in a market where demand for local support and integration work is growing.
Research from Gartner, cited by Ataccama, found that organisations with successful AI initiatives invest up to four times more in areas such as data quality and governance, AI-ready skills and change management than businesses reporting weak AI outcomes. Against that backdrop, attention has sharpened on how companies manage information spread across legacy systems, cloud platforms and business applications.
As AI tools move beyond helping staff interpret information and begin recommending or taking action, the quality of source data becomes harder to ignore. Errors or inconsistencies can feed directly into business decisions or customer interactions, especially when fewer manual checks sit between data inputs and operational outcomes.
That puts data teams under pressure to maintain reliable information across larger, more fragmented environments without matching increases in headcount. Ataccama says its platform combines data quality and governance functions and automates work that has often relied on manual effort, including rule creation, metadata enrichment, documentation and fix recommendations.
Regional expansion
Systemation has spent almost five years working with Ataccama's technology in the Benelux market. Both companies say that experience has given the firm practical knowledge of how to deploy the software in complex enterprise environments where data sits across multiple systems and organisational structures.
The wider partner network is intended to extend that experience beyond direct engagements. By adding more resellers and implementation specialists, the companies aim to increase local delivery capacity for organisations seeking to improve data governance and data quality as they scale AI projects.
Ataccama has framed the deal as part of a broader effort to make its technology more accessible through local expertise rather than relying solely on direct sales and delivery. In regional markets where implementation often depends on existing customer relationships and knowledge of local systems, distributors and service partners can play a bigger role in adoption than software vendors acting alone.
Jessica Goulart, Vice President of Partnerships at Ataccama, commented on Systemation's expanded role.
"Ataccama gives business and data teams a faster and easier way to scale data management and build trusted AI foundations, and Systemation has proven it knows how to make that technology work inside the complex environments our customers actually run," said Jessica Goulart, Vice President of Partnerships at Ataccama.
AI data focus
The announcement reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology spending towards the data layers beneath AI applications. While much of the public discussion around AI has focused on models, assistants and automation, companies deploying those tools at scale are also investing in data quality, governance and integration work to reduce the risk of faulty outputs.
That work can be especially demanding for large organisations with older IT estates, overlapping data ownership and inconsistent standards between departments. In those settings, implementation partners often act as translators between software products and operational realities, helping customers decide where to begin and how to embed new processes into existing workflows.
For Systemation, the new designation formalises that role across the Benelux and creates an opportunity to extend its methods through third-party partners rather than only its own teams. That may allow Ataccama to widen its regional presence without building the entire local support structure itself.
Jaap Franse, Managing Director at Systemation, said customer demand has focused on making reliable data available for more AI and business uses without overwhelming internal teams.
"Customers are asking how they can make reliable data available across more AI and business use cases without creating an unsustainable workload for their teams," said Jaap Franse, Managing Director at Systemation. "We have seen firsthand where those projects become difficult and what it takes to make them work inside complex enterprise environments. Becoming Ataccama's distributor allows us to share our best practices and expertise with a wider partner network and give more organisations across the Benelux access to people who know how to put it into practice."
