Salesforce partners with NTT DATA to optimise applications
NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services provider, has been nominated by Salesforce to standardise and streamline the CRM giant's application environment, marking a significant expansion of their 20-year collaboration. The partnership, which finds roots in some 3,500 profitable Salesforce ventures executed worldwide by NTT DATA, looks forward to further fortifying their mutual prowess in application management.
Aaron Millstone, Chief Growth Officer at NTT DATA North America, extols their partnership, saying, "We love being the experts that the experts turn to, and we're proud of our partnership with Salesforce as a reseller and AppExchange partner. NTT DATA will now manage and develop hundreds of applications across Salesforce's organization. These applications not only traverse Salesforce Sales, Marketing, Service, Experience, and Commerce Clouds but also MuleSoft, Heroku, Slack, and numerous third-party and bespoke apps.
CIO of Salesforce, Juan Perez, acknowledged the benefits of this collaboration, stating, "By consolidating managed services across the Salesforce stack, we can concentrate on building new capabilities and helping our customers use data and AI to obtain improved insights for their users and better productivity for their employees."
The collaboration will also manifest itself in NTT DATA's workplace, as Slack becomes the company's chosen collaboration platform. Providing employees with this influential tool is expected to encourage connection, information sharing and foster a more coherent working alliance.
NTT DATA is recognised globally for its performance in application implementation and managed services. Its acquisition of Apisero in 2022 expanded the company's Salesforce and MuleSoft digital talent ecosystem internationally. These efforts propelled NTT DATA to the second position in Application Implementation and Managed Services Providers by Market Share, Worldwide, 2022, according to Gartner's Market Share Analysis.
