Persistent Systems wins Everest Group award for sustained growth
Persistent Systems has been recognised as a recipient of the 2025 Elevate Honors in the "Growth Honor of the Year" category by Everest Group.
The Elevate Honors programme is designed to acknowledge companies with annual revenues between USD $1 billion and USD $5 billion, spotlighting those with consistent financial growth and notable performance among global peers. Persistent falls into this category, having reported USD $1,470.7 million in trailing twelve-month revenue as of the first quarter of its financial year 2026.
Industry recognition
This recognition is the result of Everest Group's independent, analyst-driven research, which assesses market performance and differentiation among publicly listed global service providers. The Growth Honor of the Year is awarded based strictly on merit and financial consistency, removing any influence from subjective or non-performance-based considerations.
Persistent has demonstrated 21 consecutive quarters of revenue growth, an achievement that underpins the sustained momentum highlighted through this latest recognition. The company has reported a four-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 25.6% for the period from financial year 2021 to 2025, and a 17.4% CAGR since its initial public offering in 2010. Notably, Persistent's five-year shareholder return stands at 1,805.2%.
Growth drivers
According to the release, Persistent's continuous expansion has been driven by a singular focus on client needs, a solid understanding of shifting market landscapes, and the company's capacity to respond to emerging technology trends. Its revenue has been primarily powered by an AI-led, platform-driven services strategy, supported by solutions such as SASVA, iAURA, and GenAI Hub.
The organisation attributes its performance to a combination of disciplined business execution, partnership strength, and the efforts of its global workforce. This approach has allowed Persistent to continue delivering business outcomes in the face of shifting macroeconomic environments.
Sandeep Kalra, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, Persistent, said:
"We thank Everest Group for this recognition, which stands as a powerful affirmation of our clients' trust, the passion of our global team, and the strength of our partnerships. Our disciplined execution and innovation mindset, combined with our focus on AI-led, platform-driven services strategy, have powered our growth and enabled us to drive measurable outcomes for our clients. As we continue advancing toward our aspiration of becoming a USD $5 billion company by FY31, we remain steadfast in accelerating this momentum as we set new benchmarks for growth and performance."
Persistent's global talent pool and its collaborative partner ecosystem have been highlighted as supporting factors for its growth trajectory and the delivery of stakeholder value. The 2025 Elevate Honors provides external recognition to this business progress.
Everest Group's perspective
The recognition forms part of Everest Group's new Elevate Honors programme, which uses market data and independent analysis to identify companies that have achieved high performance based on objective metrics. The programme is intended as a neutral third-party validation of sustained growth and operational excellence within its designated revenue bands.
Ronak Doshi, Partner, Everest Group, said:
