MSI begins laptop production in India with Chennai plant

MSI has announced the commencement of its India production with the establishment of its first manufacturing facility in Chennai.

The facility is part of MSI's initiative to support the "Make in India" movement by manufacturing local versions of its popular laptop models, the MSI Modern 14 and MSI Thin 15. This strategic move signifies MSI's ongoing commitment to strengthening its presence in one of its fastest-growing markets and enhancing operational efficiencies.

Mr. John Hung, NB General Manager of MSI India, conveyed the company's outlook on this development. The MSI Modern 14 and MSI Thin 15 models are now available at all authorised reseller partners across India. This development enhances MSI's product accessibility, embedding its devices more deeply into India's thriving tech ecosystem.
