Loyalty Now achieves ISO 27001:2022 certification

Loyalty Now has announced that it has obtained ISO 27001:2022 certification, a globally recognised standard for information security management. This achievement marks the first instance of the company receiving such a certification, reinforcing its status in the business-to-business (B2B) payment-linked offers (PLO) loyalty and rewards industry.

The certification, which took effect from 17 May 2024, will remain valid for three years, with an option to renew thereafter. The ISO 27001:2022 standard signifies Loyalty Now's commitment to establishing and sustaining a robust information security management system (ISMS). The standard applies to organisations aiming to formalise and enhance their processes surrounding information security, privacy, and the protection of information assets. This endorsement highlights the strength of Loyalty Now's management system across all its group companies and aligns with global information security best practices.

Anurag Vasisth, co-chair and group chief executive officer of Loyalty Now, remarked on the achievement, stating, "Achieving ISO 27001:2022 certification is not only a testament to Loyalty Now’s commitment to information security, it is also a strategic step towards future growth and expansion. The certification signals that the business is now internationally ready, paving the way for new opportunities in global markets." Vasisth emphasised the importance of this readiness as Loyalty Now continues to innovate and expand its offerings to meet the evolving needs of its global customers.

The scope of Loyalty Now's certification encompasses the design, development, maintenance, and support of technology-enabled loyalty and rewards Payment-as-a-Solution (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) offerings. These include payment-linked offers (PLO), aggregators PLO (APLO), and associated merchant and managed services. Additionally, the certification extends to innovation management, third-party partnership management, and gift/virtual card reseller management. The company’s ISMS ensures the protection of software and communications across all its operations, covering technology, support, human resources, vendor management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
