Jio Financial Services launches JioFinance app in Paris
Jio Financial Services has officially launched its JioFinance app in Paris, marking the company's entry into the French market.
This strategic move is designed to facilitate digital transactions for Indian travellers visiting Paris.
The JioFinance app will enable users to purchase tickets for the Eiffel Tower through its official website, La Tour Eiffel, and make in-store payments at the iconic Parisian department store, Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann. The introduction of these features aims to make it more convenient for Indian tourists to manage their financial transactions seamlessly while exploring the French capital.
As part of its international rollout, JioFinance has also introduced a dedicated experience centre inside 'India House'. This initiative has been conceptualised by Reliance Foundation in collaboration with the Indian Olympic Association. India House serves as a cultural exhibit showcasing India's rich heritage and legacy and provides a home away from home for Indian athletes and visitors in Paris.
Visa, the official payments partner of the Olympic Games Paris 2024, has partnered with JioFinance to enhance the presence of digital payment solutions at India House. This partnership underscores the commitment to offering secure and reliable payment methods for visitors during the global sporting event.
JioFinance aims to deliver a smooth digital experience for users at all levels of familiarity with financial technology. The app offers modern features such as instant UPI payments, fully digital bank accounts, wallet services, bill payments and recharges, rewards, insurance broking, and a consolidated view of an individual's holdings across various bank accounts.
