HiBob and The Josh Bersin Company have launched Galileo Powered Workforce Intelligence in Bob, bringing Galileo's HR research into HiBob's human resources platform.

The product combines Bob's internal workforce data with external HR guidance from Galileo, a knowledge base developed by The Josh Bersin Company. The first artificial intelligence agents in the service will focus on job architecture, compensation and performance management.

The launch reflects a broader push by software suppliers to embed artificial intelligence tools in day-to-day management systems rather than offer them as separate assistants. HiBob is targeting leaders, managers and HR teams that need advice tied to their own organisational structures, workflows and priorities.

The tools are intended to help users structure roles and skills using industry frameworks, support pay decisions with market and internal context, and improve the consistency of performance reviews. HiBob argues that this approach addresses a gap between generating information and helping leaders act on it.

Ronni Zehavi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of HiBob, made that case when discussing the launch.

"Most organizations don't have an AI problem. They have an intelligence problem. The challenge isn't generating more information. It's helping leaders make better decisions with the information they already have. Workforce transformation requires organizations to connect people, payroll, performance, and planning in a way that turns insight into action. That's why we've embedded Galileo's expertise directly into Bob AI," said Ronni Zehavi, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder of HiBob.

HiBob has framed the launch as part of a wider shift in workplace software. Rather than relying only on systems that store records or manage employee interactions, employers increasingly want software that can interpret data across workforce planning, payroll and performance, and offer guidance at the point of decision, according to the company.

Three areas

The initial rollout will centre on three workforce tasks that are often handled across multiple systems and require policy judgement. Job architecture covers the definition of roles and skills. Compensation addresses pay decisions. Performance management focuses on employee evaluations.

Those use cases are significant because they are closely tied to consistency and governance inside organisations. HR teams often face pressure to align role definitions across departments, maintain internal equity in pay, and produce performance reviews that can withstand scrutiny from staff and senior management.

According to the companies, Bob supplies the organisational context while Galileo contributes research and advisory material built up over 25 years. That combination is intended to produce responses more specific to a user's workplace than those offered by a general-purpose artificial intelligence system.

Zehavi said the product is intended to support, rather than replace, human judgement.

"By combining trusted expertise with workforce intelligence, we're helping organizations build the operating system they need for the AI era, one that elevates human decision-making rather than replacing it," said Zehavi.

Market direction

The launch also underlines how HR software providers are trying to show that artificial intelligence can deliver measurable returns in business processes, not just automate routine queries. Employers have experimented widely with generative artificial intelligence tools, but many are still assessing where those tools produce dependable outputs and where specialist oversight is required.

The Josh Bersin Company has positioned its role in the partnership around that demand for subject-specific guidance. Its contribution is intended to anchor software responses in established HR practice rather than rely only on broad language models.

"For AI to truly transform HR, it must be grounded in expertise and delivered in the flow of work. The partnership between Galileo and Bob brings decades of HR knowledge directly into the hands of practitioners and managers when they need it most while empowering teams to make more human-centered decisions every day," said Josh Bersin.

HiBob said the Galileo Inside Bob agents will be available in the third quarter of 2026, with full general availability expected in 2027. The first agents are expected to be adopted by hundreds of customers by the end of 2026 and into the first quarter of 2027.
