Consistent launches Orbit charging stand for gamers
Mon, 10th Aug 2026 (Today)
Consistent Infosystems has launched the ORBIT Charging & Storage Stand for gaming controllers in India.
Designed to charge and store multiple controllers in a single vertical unit, it can power up to four at once through two wireless drop-and-charge docks and two wired charging ports.
The compact tower-style stand is intended to reduce desk clutter. It also includes charging cables for the wired ports, allowing compatibility with different controller types.
Alongside charging and storage, the ORBIT features RGB LED lighting, a matte black finish, and a layout designed to sit alongside consoles and other gaming equipment.
The stand also includes over-voltage protection and plug-and-play support.
Gaming push
The launch adds to Consistent's presence in gaming accessories, an area it is using to broaden its range beyond IT hardware, surveillance products, networking equipment, and print consumables. The company says it has built a wider electronics and gaming portfolio as it expands across India.
Consistent describes itself as an Indian technology company operating across multiple product categories. Founded in New Delhi in 2011, it says it now has more than 25 branches, over 93 service centres, more than 400 direct employees, and exports to more than 17 countries.
It also says it works with 3,795 channel partners across India and offers a portfolio of more than 693 products. Those figures point to a distribution-led model that remains central to how it brings new products to market.
The ORBIT Charging & Storage Stand will be sold through that channel partner network across India, as well as through the company's online store. No pricing details were included in the announcement.
Market context
The launch comes as gaming accessory makers compete for demand from players seeking more organised home setups. Charging docks, headset stands, and lighting accessories have become a common part of the consumer gaming market, particularly as players use more than one controller and mix console and PC equipment.
Products in this segment are increasingly marketed on convenience and space-saving rather than console performance. Multi-controller charging can appeal to households where several players share a system, while vertical storage designs target smaller desks and entertainment units.
At the same time, the category is crowded, with established console accessory brands, specialist gaming suppliers, and lower-cost unbranded imports all competing for attention. That puts pressure on companies to differentiate through design, compatibility, and retail reach.
For Consistent, the launch also reflects a broader strategy of using gaming products to deepen its position in consumer electronics. The company has previously highlighted growth in that segment alongside recognition from industry publications for motherboard, camera, and gaming categories.
Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder, Consistent Infosystems, said: "A great gaming setup goes beyond the console-it's about having accessories that enhance the overall experience. With the ORBIT Charging & Storage Stand, we've created a practical and stylish solution that combines convenient charging, organised storage, and a modern design. We remain committed to delivering innovative and affordable gaming accessories for gamers across India."
