Ai+ Smartphone has launched the Pulse 2 FE smartphone, the NovaTab tablet and the LapTab in India, expanding its range beyond smartphones.

The three products target different price points and uses, spanning entry-level smartphone buyers, students seeking larger screens and consumers looking for a device for both entertainment and work. Sales will begin on Flipkart.

The Pulse 2 FE is the most affordable of the new devices, starting at INR 9,999. It features a 6.67-inch 120Hz display, a MediaTek G81 processor, a 50MP AI camera, a 5000mAh battery, IP64 protection, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable to 1TB.

The NovaTab marks Ai+ Smartphone's entry into the 5G tablet segment. It starts at INR 17,999, including bank offers, for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at INR 20,999, including bank offers.

Specifications include an 11.97-inch 90Hz display, 5G connectivity, an 8000mAh battery, a T760 processor, dual speakers, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The tablet is positioned as a learning device for students, with use cases including classes, reading and research.

The LapTab is the highest-priced of the three at INR 24,999, including bank offers. It has a 13.2-inch 2.4K 90Hz display, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a 10,000mAh battery, quad speakers and 33W charging.

It also supports a stylus and an attachable keyboard, intended to give it a laptop-like role alongside entertainment use. The device runs on the MT8755 processor.

All three devices run Android 16 with nxtQ OS, which Ai+ Smartphone is using across its product line. Connectivity includes both 4G and 5G, depending on the model, and the devices continue the company's focus on large batteries and higher refresh rate displays in lower and mid-priced products.

The launch comes as consumer electronics brands in India compete for festive season demand, when smartphones, tablets and related devices often see a rise in upgrades and gift purchases. Ai+ Smartphone is using the period to broaden its product line and target buyers at the lower end of the smartphone market, as well as those considering larger-screen devices.

Broader range

Pricing released alongside the new products also covered several existing smartphone models. The Nova 2 Pro starts at INR 16,999, including bank offers, for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version, and INR 17,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version.

The Nova 2 Ultra is listed at INR 18,999, including bank offers, for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, and INR 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The Nova 2 Power starts at INR 15,999, including bank offers, for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and INR 16,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.

The new products will be available in multiple colours. The Pulse 2 FE will come in Black, Blue, Green and Purple, while the NovaTab will be sold in Dark Blue and Cinnamon Brown. The LapTab will be offered in Teal Green and Dark Blue.

Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer at NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said the launch reflects different buying patterns during India's festive shopping period.

"The festive season is a time when millions of consumers make important technology choices whether it is their first smartphone, an upgrade, a device for education or something that brings work and entertainment together," Sheth said.

He added that the new devices also mark a broader step for the business as it expands beyond handsets.

"With Pulse 2 FE, NovaTab and Nova Nova LapTab, we wanted to create products for these different moments without losing sight of accessibility. This is also an important step in taking Ai+ Smartphone beyond smartphones and building a connected technology ecosystem designed in India with the ambition to compete globally. As families prepare for Diwali, we want more consumers to have access to technology that adds meaningful value to their everyday lives," Sheth said.
