3D Printing stories - Page 2

Unlike normal printing technologies, 3D printing (or additive manufacturing as it is sometimes described as) is the construction of a three-dimensional object from a CAD model or a digital 3D model. It involves the action or process of making a physical object from a three-dimensional digital model, usually done by laying down many thin layers of a material in succession. 3D printing is being widely used across a variety of verticals, including healthcare, engineering and retail. 3D printers are often sold widely across the channel space.
