Thu, 19th Feb 2026

Smart Home Expo will stage its seventh edition at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, with an expanded, trade-focused format featuring more than 450 exhibitors across home automation, smart building systems, lighting, audio-video and security.

The three-day show will span 15,000 square metres of gross exhibition area and target trade visitors from residential and commercial technology channels. Organisers describe it as India's largest smart technology event for homes and workplaces.

Exhibitors will present products and systems across smart home technology, lighting, audio/video, smart security, smart building solutions, and consumer electronics. The format is designed for professional evaluation and business discussions across distribution and integration networks.

Demo Rooms

A key feature for 2026 is the return of dedicated AV Demo Rooms: purpose-built, acoustically treated spaces for professionals to assess home cinema and audio systems in conditions closer to real-world installations.

Demonstrations will cover speakers, immersive formats, projection and integrated audio-video control. The set-up is intended to support deeper technical evaluation and longer conversations between suppliers and the custom integration community.

KNX Pavilion

The show will also include a dedicated KNX Pavilion, bringing together KNX manufacturers and products as part of the broader automation focus. It is expected to feature brands within the KNX ecosystem, widely used in building automation projects.

With the KNX Association serving as Technology Partner, the pavilion will sit alongside exhibits covering connected devices and building systems. The participation of the Connectivity Standards Alliance and the Z-Wave Alliance also highlights interoperability topics that influence procurement and deployment decisions.

Events Programme

Alongside the exhibition, the event will run experience-led and knowledge-led formats, including Lighting Connect, the Smart Space Awards and the Smart Building Summit.

Lighting Connect will focus on smart lighting, lighting controls and human-centric design, convening lighting design and technology professionals to link product choices with practical design considerations.

The Smart Space Awards will recognise projects where design and technology meet across residential and commercial work, highlighting teams involved from planning through implementation.

The Smart Building Summit will provide a forum on connected buildings and intelligent spaces, bringing together perspectives on how design, strategy and technology choices affect building outcomes.
