NIIT Learning Systems has been named to Training Industry's Top 20 AI Content Creation & Authoring Tools Companies list for the second consecutive year.

Training Industry, a research and information provider focused on corporate learning, compiles the list as part of its annual Top 20 report, which is intended to help learning leaders assess suppliers across key segments of the training market.

Companies were selected for the AI content creation and authoring tools list based on the scope and quality of their tools, market presence, innovation and impact, client portfolio and customer relationships, and business performance and growth trajectory.

NIIT Learning Systems, which trades under the ticker symbol NIITMTS, provides managed learning services to corporate clients. Its work spans learning, talent, skills and workforce transformation, with operations in more than 40 countries.

Selection criteria

The ranking places NIIT alongside other providers in a segment shaped by employers' demand for faster content production and broader use of artificial intelligence in workplace learning. Training Industry described the category as one in which vendors are judged not only on content tools, but also on how well they support broader content operations and governance.

That view was reflected in comments accompanying the ranking.

"Congratulations to all of the Top 20 AI Content Creation & Authoring Tool companies for setting the standard in a market that's here to stay. By streamlining content creation and scaling learning experiences, these providers are helping organizations meet growing demands for speed, agility, and measurable business impact. Top providers are distinguishing themselves by their ability to support clients through end-to-end content operations, embedding AI as the central workflow engine rather than an added feature, and implementing enterprise-ready governance controls that let them scale with confidence," said Jalen Banks, Market Research Analyst, Training Industry.

Company response

NIIT Learning described the recognition as support for its approach to artificial intelligence in learning and development. The company has positioned itself around what it calls an AI-ready learning and development model for large organizations.

A senior executive linked the ranking to that strategy.

"AI is fundamentally reshaping how learning is designed, delivered, and managed. The next phase of this transformation will be defined by organizations that can operationalize AI with the right balance of human expertise, intelligent automation, and enterprise governance. We're pleased that Training Industry has recognized NIIT's AI content creation and authoring capabilities for the second year in a row. It reinforces our vision for the AI-Ready L&D Enterprise and our commitment to helping clients scale AI with confidence while delivering meaningful business outcomes," said Sailesh Lalla, Chief Business Officer, NIIT Learning.

The inclusion comes as companies across sectors review how artificial intelligence can be used in employee training, course design and skills development. In that market, content creation and authoring tools are closely watched because they sit near the start of the learning production process.

For suppliers, visibility in third-party rankings can matter because large corporate buyers often use such lists as one factor when screening vendors. Training Industry says its Top 20 lists are intended to help business leaders identify training partners across the learning market.

NIIT Learning traces its roots to 1981 and says it works with leading global companies on managed learning and consulting assignments. It also says it helps enterprises build operating models and infrastructure for workforces using both human input and artificial intelligence.

Training Industry says its research and publishing activities generate more than 10 million industry interactions each year. Its network includes more than 450 contributors who provide analysis and commentary on the business of learning.

The latest ranking highlights how competition in learning technology is shifting toward providers that can combine authoring tools with governance, workflow integration and client support, Banks said.
