NetApp has named Binary Global and Swan Solutions & Services as joint winners of its India Partner of the Year award for Fiscal Year 2025, as part of a wider set of partner awards announced at its Partner Summit in India.

The company said the awards recognised partners working with NetApp across areas such as AI, cyber resilience, data infrastructure modernisation and cloud transformation. NetApp positions its partners as a key route to market for its storage and data management products in India.

NetApp also pointed to the scale of technology investment in the country. It cited a projection that India's digital transformation market will reach USD $126.8 billion by 2033.

Channel strategy

NetApp has placed growing emphasis on channel engagement across Asia Pacific in recent years, with a focus on systems integrators, resellers and distributors that sell into large enterprises and public sector organisations. The company said it recently refreshed its Partner Sphere programme across the region.

NetApp framed the awards as part of its wider partner strategy in India. It linked the partner network to customer demand for data security and infrastructure upgrades as organisations increase their use of cloud services and data-intensive applications.

"Congratulations to all our partner winners. Their commitment to customer value and innovation continues to strengthen our ecosystem," said Hitesh Joshi, Director of Partners and Alliances, NetApp.

"We at NetApp remain committed to engaging and executing with partners, equipping them with the capabilities and support needed to drive growth and help enterprises succeed in the intelligent data era," said Joshi.

Partner reactions

Swan Solutions & Services said the recognition reflected its work with NetApp customers in India. The company operates as an IT services and solutions provider with a focus on enterprise infrastructure, including storage, cloud and data protection deployments.

"Our long-standing partnership with NetApp continues to be a key driver of value for our customers," said Nitin Alsi, Executive Director, Swan Solutions & Services Pvt. Ltd.

"This recognition reinforces our focus on delivering differentiated solutions backed by NetApp's proven data platform and partner ecosystem," said Alsi.

Binary Global also commented on the Partner of the Year award. "Being named NetApp Partner of the Year is a recognition of our execution strength and customer-first approach," said SS Dhingra, Managing Director, Binary Global Ltd.

"Our collaboration with NetApp has enabled us to deliver modern, secure, and scalable data infrastructure solutions that support enterprises in their digital and AI journeys. We look forward to driving continued success together," said Dhingra.

Products and positioning

NetApp sells storage systems and software focused on data management across on-premises infrastructure and public cloud services. It positions its core platform around ONTAP, its data management software and operating system. NetApp also markets automation and observability features as part of its portfolio.

In India, NetApp competes for enterprise infrastructure spending against a range of storage and data management suppliers, as well as cloud service providers that offer integrated storage services. Systems integrators and resellers play a central role in procurement and deployment for many large organisations, particularly in regulated sectors and public sector projects.

NetApp said the refreshed Partner Sphere programme will form part of its regional approach as it works with Indian partners on customer projects involving AI, security and cloud adoption.
