Kramer has launched a new range of Dante-enabled audio models in India, expanding its networked audio line-up for professional AV installations.

The new products include ceiling, wall-mounted, all-weather and pendant speakers in several form factors, with both passive and Dante-enabled options. The additions extend its range of PoE-powered Dante speakers and are intended to give system integrators more choice across projects with different technical and budget requirements.

India is a significant market for professional AV suppliers because installations often span corporate offices, education settings, hospitality venues and retail sites, each with distinct design demands. The new speaker range is aimed at those varied environments, with an emphasis on speech intelligibility, background music and even room coverage.

"Our customers and partners in India are designing AV systems for an incredibly diverse range of environments, and they need audio solutions that can adapt to those different requirements," said Kirti Shetti, India sales director, Kramer.

The portfolio pairs Dante-enabled speakers with passive models that share the same industrial design and sound profile. This allows integrators to combine networked and traditional audio products in the same installation while maintaining a consistent appearance and similar audio output across different spaces.

The Dante models carry both audio and power over the network, which can reduce cabling and simplify installation. The range was also developed around practical installation requirements, including front-access wiring for ceiling speakers and centralised utility software for configuration and troubleshooting.

Broader AV Range

Alongside the speaker launch, Kramer is introducing KDS-17 Lite, a 4K60 4:4:4 transceiver that can be configured as either an encoder or decoder. The product is designed to work with the wider KDS-17 ecosystem and is positioned as a lower-cost entry point for projects looking to adopt AVoIP across more rooms or sites.

Kramer's 1G AVoIP range is managed through AVoIP Manager, available in both cloud and on-premises versions. The platform supports KDS-100, KDS-7, KDS-17 and ZUHD60 products, covering configuration, routing, monitoring and system management.

The launches show how AV suppliers are building product families that cover both audio and video distribution under common management platforms. For customers and integrators, that can reduce the number of separate systems used in meeting rooms, classrooms and other shared spaces.

10G Systems

Kramer is also presenting its 10G SDVoE portfolio, including the ZyPer4K-XSE. The model delivers uncompressed 4K video with near-zero latency and is managed through the ZyPer Management Platform for centralised configuration and monitoring.

Beyond video distribution, its AVoIP products also bring USB and audio into the same environment. USB-C connectivity is available across key 1G and 10G product families, while native Dante support allows video endpoints to connect to wider audio-over-IP systems, including Dante-enabled amplifiers and speakers.

The strategy reflects a broader shift in professional AV towards IP-based systems that can be standardised across different room types and buildings. Suppliers have increasingly focused on interoperability between endpoints, networked audio devices and management software as customers seek simpler ways to deploy and maintain large AV estates.

Shetti said the expansion of the speaker line is intended to offer more design flexibility across varied project types. "By expanding our speaker portfolio, particularly our range of Dante-enabled models, we're giving system integrators more flexibility to choose the right approach for each project. Whether it's a meeting room, a classroom, a hospitality environment or a larger commercial space, the goal is the same: great sound combined with solutions that are simple to design, install and manage," she said.

Kramer said its wider proposition rests on a single portfolio covering 1G, 10G, video, USB and audio-over-IP. "With a unified portfolio that spans 1G, 10G, video, USB, and audio-over-IP, Kramer is enabling AV systems that are simpler to deploy, easier to manage, and ready to scale," said Dorit Bitter, EVP Product and Technology. "At InfoComm India 2026, we're demonstrating how true interoperability and standardization translate into real-world value for integrators and customers alike."
