INVT launches three products at Goa strategy event
Tue, 19th May 2026 (Today)
INVT held a strategy and product launch conference in Goa, bringing together about 125 distributors, partners, industry representatives and executives from across India.
The two-day event outlined the company's plans for the Indian market and introduced new products for industrial automation and energy applications. Attendees included distributors, strategic account partners, media representatives, key opinion leaders and INVT leadership.
India featured prominently in the conference messaging, with executives describing the country as an important market for industrial automation and energy. Discussions focused on local partnerships, product deployment and customer requirements across manufacturing and clean energy segments.
Wang Jian, General Manager of Global Sales and Marketing at INVT, addressed the event with a message centred on India's role in the company's broader expansion plans.
"India stands at the forefront of industrial transformation, driven by rapid technological adoption and strong policy support for manufacturing and clean energy. At INVT, we see India not just as a key growth market but as a strategic partner in shaping the future of the smart industry and sustainable development. Through continuous innovation, localization, and strong ecosystem partnerships, we remain committed to supporting India's journey towards intelligent manufacturing and a greener future," Wang said.
He also presented localisation as a central part of the company's approach in India. That strategy includes building closer ties with distributors and strategic partners while adapting products and support to local requirements.
Product launches
A key part of the conference was the introduction of three products for industrial and energy customers: permanent magnet synchronous motors, the GD290 Series variable frequency drive, and the XD30-60KTR high-voltage three-phase energy storage inverter.
The launches reflect demand in India for equipment linked to factory automation, photovoltaic projects and energy storage systems. INVT positioned the portfolio around industrial efficiency and energy sustainability, two themes that ran through the wider event.
Executives and invited speakers also discussed integrated automation systems, digital manufacturing, and the link between renewable energy and industrial operations. These themes were framed against broader industrial policy support in India, including the Make in India initiative.
Zhang Zhi Jun, INVT's India Regional Director, took part in the programme alongside Anup Wadhwa, Head of the India Industrial Automation Association. Their sessions formed part of broader discussions on market trends, channel development and the needs of industrial users in the country.
Channel focus
Partner sessions gathered feedback from distributors and strategic accounts on local application requirements and changing customer demand. The format allowed direct exchanges with management on business opportunities across India's industrial market.
The emphasis on channel relationships suggests India remains a partnership-led market for INVT, particularly in sectors that rely on local sales, support and implementation networks. By bringing distributors and strategic accounts into a single forum, the company aimed to deepen ties while presenting a unified product and market strategy.
The conference also included an awards segment recognising selected partners and contributors. That underlined INVT's effort to strengthen loyalty within its sales network as competition grows across India's automation and energy equipment markets.
For INVT, the Goa meeting was one of its larger gatherings in the country. It combined market positioning, product launches and partner engagement in a single event as the company sought to expand its presence in India's industrial modernisation and energy transition.
