Indamer Technics completes 45-day rollout of Ramco software
Indamer Technics has implemented Ramco Aviation Software across its third-party MRO business operations, integrating multiple functions into a unified digital platform.
The project, which saw Indamer Technics replace its legacy systems with Ramco's software, covered modules for Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality, Contract and Quote Management, as well as Customer Billing and Finance. The transition to the new system was completed in 45 days.
According to both organisations, the updated platform has already delivered measurable advantages. These include increased accuracy and visibility for inventory, more effective tracking of open orders and project status, better billing turnaround time and precision, and improved planning and consumption of materials.
Agreement and rollout
Indamer Technics, a long-standing provider of aviation services to commercial and governmental clients in India, selected Ramco Systems to support its move towards streamlined digital operations. By moving its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) business to a single integrated software suite, the company expects to increase efficiency and deliver services more quickly.
Ashwani Acharya, Chief Operating Officer, Indamer Technics Private Limited, commented on the business impact of the new system.
"In a fast-tracked rollout aligned with our business goals, we transitioned our MRO operations to Ramco Aviation Software. The system now powers every stage of our workflow, from contract execution to aircraft delivery. Thanks to the dedication and seamless collaboration between the teams at Indamer Technics and Ramco, we shall be able to deliver greater value, faster, to our customers."
Ramco Systems underscored the collaborative nature of the deployment.
Sam Jacob, Executive Vice President & SBU Head – Aviation, Aerospace and Defence, Ramco Systems, said, "Realising go-live status in just 45 days is a testament to the strength of our partnership with Indamer Technics and the robust capabilities built into Ramco Aviation Software, which embody the best-of-the-breed aviation MRO industry's best practices."
"With this successful go-live, Indamer Technics now has a scalable, future-ready platform that will support their evolving needs and reinforce their position as a key player in India's MRO sector for years to come. This is the level of transformation we strive to deliver for every organisation in the aviation MRO industry."
Software in use
Ramco Aviation Software is currently used by more than 24,000 individuals to manage a fleet of over 4,000 aircraft globally, according to figures provided. The software serves upwards of 70 aviation organisations, including commercial airlines, defence entities, large helicopter operators, and companies in the urban air mobility sector.
The software suite incorporates features such as artificial intelligence-driven solutions, digital task cards, offline maintenance functionality, voice-enabled user experience, conversational chatbots, and advanced analytical tools. The platform is cloud-based and accessible through its 'Anywhere Apps', facilitating remote operations and increasing organisational agility, the company says.
By adopting the new digital solution, Indamer Technics aims to position itself for continued growth in India's expanding maintenance, repair and overhaul sector. The company expects its digital transformation to have a positive impact on operational accuracy, customer service delivery, and long-term competitiveness.
