Gallagher's C7000 wins Outstanding New Security Product award
Gallagher Security's Controller 7000 (C7000), acclaimed globally for its outstanding security features, has clinched the award for Outstanding New Security Product at the prestigious India and South Asia OSPAs held in New Delhi on March 14th, 2024.
This is the first recognition accorded to Gallagher's C7000 since its launch in November 2023. The C7000 is the latest enhancement to Gallagher's Controller suite, a line-up revolutionising the world of security technology.
Certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and built to manage all an organisation's localised access control, intruder alarms, perimeter security, business automation, and logic needs, the C7000 paves the way for an advanced generation of Gallagher Security technology. The C7000 system follows the Controller 7000 Single Door, which was launched in February 2023. This new technology affords users the potential to boost their hardware and firmware and develop a platform geared towards the future.
Jim Rayner, Value Owner at Gallagher, who spearheaded the production of the C7000, stated, "We are proud to be the recipients of the Outstanding New Security Product at the India OSPAs in New Delhi. This award is a testament and credit to everyone involved in bringing this exciting new product to market."
"Gallagher is passionate about pushing cyber security to the next level so that we can protect what matters most. The Controller 7000 really pushes the limits of what can be achieved when products are designed with security baked in right from the beginning."
In an age where digital progress is continuously reshaping our thinking, merely following basic cyber hygiene rules is no longer sufficient. A solution prepared for tomorrow's cyber environment today is what businesses need, and the C7000 is perfectly equipped for this challenge. With its incredible hardware and cybersecurity features embedded from the beginning, the C7000 ensures a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) and guarantees software authenticity on each device.
Powered by an ultra-modern iMX8 System-on chip and an NXP Edgelock secure element, the C7000 possesses a microprocessor that is ten times more potent, making access decisions 25 times faster and resyncing the cardholder database in half the time compared to conventional systems.
The key features of the C7000 were crafted based on feedback drawn directly from end users, channel partners, and consultants, amplifying the ease of upgrading. It was designed to mimic the Controller 6000 regarding footprint, wiring, and ports, enabling businesses to capitalise on the latest technologies while seamlessly scaling as they grow.
Subrata Sinha, Regional Sales Manager, North India for Gallagher Security, accepted the award for Outstanding New Security Product at the India and South Asia OSPAs in New Delhi. This is a noteworthy recognition for a global heavyweight in security technology.
