Eviden partners with Supermicro to enhance AI infrastructure

Eviden has announced a strategic partnership with Supermicro to enhance the AI infrastructure for enterprises across select regions.

The collaboration will see Eviden distribute Supermicro's AI SuperCluster, incorporating NVIDIA's GB200 NVL72 solutions, in various regions including Europe, India, the Middle East, and South America. The initiative aims to address the increasing demand for AI models, particularly those requiring complex computational resources for training and inference.

Supermicro's AI SuperCluster integrates 36 NVIDIA Grace CPUs and 72 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs within a rack-scale system, designed to facilitate AI training and inference. This system is expected to empower organisations to develop and implement large language models (LLMs) more efficiently while addressing the rising energy consumption associated with AI infrastructures.
