Consistent expands GeM range with storage, CCTV gear

Thu, 4th Jun 2026 (Today)

Consistent Infosystems has expanded its product range on the Government e-Marketplace with new storage and surveillance listings, extending its offering to public sector and institutional buyers in India.

The newly listed categories are memory cards, USB external hard disk drives, video recorders for CCTV systems, and USB external solid-state drives. The move is intended to broaden access for government departments, public sector undertakings, and educational institutions buying through the procurement platform.

Public procurement

GeM is a key digital procurement channel for Indian public bodies, allowing suppliers to sell a wide range of goods and services to state-backed buyers. By adding these product lines, Consistent is increasing its presence in a segment tied to government spending on digital systems, storage, and security equipment.

The storage products added to the marketplace include portable devices for data transfer and backup. The surveillance listing covers video recorders used in CCTV setups to monitor offices, campuses, and public infrastructure sites.

The expansion comes as Indian institutions continue to invest in digital infrastructure and surveillance systems, supporting demand for products linked to data retention, backup, monitoring, and security across public sector organisations.

Storage range

The new range is aimed at varied institutional requirements. Memory cards and external solid-state drives are positioned for portable storage and faster data transfer, while external hard disk drives are intended for higher-capacity backup and archival needs.

The move also reflects the importance of GeM as a route to market for hardware vendors seeking institutional business. Listing products on the platform can simplify access to government buyers and place suppliers in competition for contracts across central and state entities.

Commenting on the development, Yogesh Agrawal, CMD and Co-Founder, Consistent Infosystems, said: "At Consistent Infosystems, our focus has always been on delivering technology solutions that combine reliability, accessibility, and innovation. The expansion of our GeM portfolio with these storage and surveillance categories marks another important step towards supporting the evolving digital infrastructure needs of government and institutional sectors. We remain committed to offering high-quality, future-ready solutions that simplify procurement and enable efficient operations across organizations."

Market presence

Consistent operates in India's IT hardware, networking, surveillance, print consumables, electronics, and gaming markets. The business started in New Delhi in 2011 and has since built a national distribution and service network.

According to company figures, it has more than 25 branches, over 93 service centres, and more than 400 direct employees. It also works with 3,795 channel partners across India and exports to more than 17 countries.

Its portfolio now spans more than 693 products. The company also cited recent industry recognition in motherboard, IP camera, gaming, and solar camera categories.

For public sector buyers, the latest GeM additions widen the choice of locally available storage and surveillance products on a procurement platform that has become increasingly central to institutional purchasing in India.
