Cloudera unveils six new AMPs to accelerate AI adoption
Cloudera announced the release of new Accelerators for Machine Learning Projects (AMPs), aimed at reducing the time-to-value for enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) use cases. These AMPs offer enterprises access to cutting-edge AI techniques that can assist in AI integration and drive impactful results.
The AMPs are described as end-to-end machine learning projects that can be deployed with a single click directly from the Cloudera platform. Each AMP encapsulates industry-leading practices for addressing complex machine learning challenges through workflows that facilitate seamless transitions, regardless of where enterprises are running examples or deploying data.
Mayank Baid, Regional Vice President, India and South Asia, Cloudera, commented on the release, saying, "India is at the forefront of the AI revolution, with enterprises here adopting AI-driven solutions at an unprecedented pace. The launch of these Accelerators for ML Projects (AMPs) is a game-changer for Indian businesses looking to unlock the full potential of their data and accelerate their AI initiatives. By reducing deployment time and offering pre-built, industry-tested solutions, Cloudera is empowering organizations across India to innovate faster and scale their AI use cases with confidence."
Cloudera's latest AMPs include:
- Fine-Tuning Studio - An all-encompassing application and ecosystem for managing, fine-tuning, and evaluating large language models (LLMs).
- RAG with Knowledge Graph - A demonstration of powering a retrieval augmented generation (RAG) application with a knowledge graph to capture relationships and context not easily accessible by vector stores alone.
- PromptBrew - An AI-powered assistant that creates high-performing and reliable prompts via a simple user interface.
- Document Analysis with Cohere CommandR and FAISS - Showcasing RAG using CommandR as the LLM and FAISS as the vector store.
- Chat with Your Documents - An enhancement of a previous LLM Chatbot augmented with enterprise data, using context from an internal knowledge base created from user-uploaded documents.
These AMPs are designed to make AI more accessible, enabling businesses to accelerate their adoption and maximise the value of both their own data and the generated AI outputs. Cloudera has made the new AMPs fully open source and includes deployment instructions for any environment.
Discussing the importance of AMPs, Steven Dickens, Chief Technology Advisor at The Futurum Group, stated, "While almost every business is experimenting with Generative AI, the technology is still so new that there are very few best practices for enterprises. AMPs remove this ambiguity by providing fully built, end-to-end solutions that give data scientists a ready-to-go minimum viable product for various AI use cases that are proven to be effective and able to quickly drive value."
Dipto Chakravarty, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera, added, "In today's environment, enterprises are constrained with time and resources to get AI projects off the ground. Our AMPs are catalysts to fast-track AI projects from concept to reality with pre-built solutions and working examples, ensuring that use cases are dependable and cost effective, while reducing development time. This enables enterprises to swiftly experience the productivity gains and efficiencies that come from AI initiatives."
