Bugcrowd launches compliance pentesting service for MSPs

Bugcrowd has announced the release of a new Managed Service Provider (MSP) offering aimed at addressing the backlog of compliance-related pentests for small to midsize businesses.

The company, known for its expertise in crowdsourced cybersecurity solutions, has introduced a scalable solution that streamlines the process of compliance testing by leveraging the expertise of ethical hackers. The service is designed to empower MSPs to enhance their service offerings without the typical delays associated with compliance testing backlogs.

The new MSP offering is seen as part of Bugcrowd's broader strategy to support MSPs in meeting the rising demand for cybersecurity compliance. It takes advantage of Bugcrowd's crowdsourced pentesting capabilities, which enable fast, reliable, and cost-effective compliance testing for clients.

Among the features of the new offering are comprehensive services that cover networking, APIs, web, mobile apps, and cloud configuration testing. The methodology employed by Bugcrowd ensures a reliable and standardised approach to pentesting.

The service promises quick engagement times, with partners able to initiate engagements in as little as three business days. This allows MSPs to respond rapidly to urgent compliance needs, thereby creating faster revenue opportunities. Additionally, the MSPs can boost their service portfolios by leveraging Bugcrowd's established reputation in the cybersecurity sector.
