Ai+ Smartphone plans to expand its service network in India to more than 1,000 centres and launch its first exclusive service centre in Delhi.

The expansion will add more than 200 sites to Ai+'s existing network of 800-plus service centres, widening its after-sales coverage across the country. Alongside the larger physical network, Ai+ is introducing the Ai+ Assistance App, which combines service booking, ticket tracking, troubleshooting support and device information on one platform.

The move reflects a broader push by the smartphone brand to strengthen customer support as competition in India's handset market increasingly extends beyond pricing and specifications. After-sales service remains a key differentiator in a market where buyers often consider repair access, turnaround times and warranty support alongside the initial purchase.

Delhi will host the first dedicated Ai+ Service Centre in India. The site will provide technical support, genuine spare parts, standardised repairs, software assistance, warranty support and device setup for the company's smartphone range.

For common service needs, Ai+ is targeting turnaround times from same-day resolution to seven days, depending on the nature and complexity of the issue. The target indicates how the company wants to position its support model as it expands its national presence.

Digital support

The new app is designed to connect the digital and physical parts of the company's support system. Customers will be able to access device and warranty information, locate nearby service centres, book service requests, generate and track service tickets, and use troubleshooting tools.

The approach reflects a wider industry trend in India, where smartphone brands are trying to reduce friction in service journeys by giving customers more visibility into repair status and more direct access to support. For newer brands in particular, service access can play an important role in building trust after the sale.

Ai+ is part of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, an Indian technology company founded by Madhav Sheth. The company says it is building digital platforms in India, including NxtQuantum OS, which it describes as India's first sovereign mobile operating system.

The latest investment in after-sales operations suggests Ai+ is trying to establish a broader market proposition than handset launches alone. Building service infrastructure requires staffing, parts-supply logistics, standard repair processes and local access points, all of which can shape consumer perception over time.

Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, outlined the thinking behind the expansion.

"Building a smartphone brand goes beyond the device. At Ai+, the ownership experience is where the real relationship begins. Crossing 1,000+ service touchpoints, establishing our first exclusive service centre and introducing the Ai+ Assistance App are important steps towards making support more accessible, transparent and dependable. Our focus is simple, to ensure that wherever our customers are, reliable support is never far away," Sheth said.

Ai+ has framed the service centre rollout and app launch as the next phase of its after-sales expansion in India. With more than 1,000 service touchpoints planned, the brand is seeking to show that customer support will be central to its pitch as it grows its footprint in the country's smartphone market.
