Ai+ Pulse 2 launches in India from INR ₹5,999 on Flipkart
Ai+ Smartphone has launched the Pulse 2 in India, with sale prices starting at Rs. 5,999 on Flipkart. The entry-level handset prioritises camera upgrades, battery capacity, a faster display refresh rate, and software updates over its predecessor.
Pulse 2 comes in two configurations. The 4GB RAM/64GB storage model has an introductory price of Rs. 5,999 for the first 24 hours, while the 6GB RAM/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 7,999 for the same period. Ai+ did not announce pricing after the introductory window.
Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, positioned the device as a step up from the earlier model while keeping costs down.
"Pulse 2 builds meaningfully on the foundation set by Pulse 1, delivering upgrades across the features users depend on most," said Madhav Sheth, CEO, Ai+ Smartphone and Founder, NxtQuantum Shift Technologies.
Camera Changes
Pulse 2 retains a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system with AI features, and upgrades the front camera to 8 megapixels from the 5-megapixel unit on Pulse 1.
The company said the higher-resolution front camera is intended to deliver clearer selfies and more consistent results in different lighting conditions.
Bigger Battery
The handset packs a 6,000mAh lithium-polymer battery, up from 5,000mAh on Pulse 1. Ai+ describes it as slim for its category.
Pulse 2 supports 18W fast charging. Ai+ cited typical use cases such as streaming, browsing, gaming, and multitasking, but did not provide an official endurance figure.
Display And Durability
The phone features a 6.745-inch HD+ V-notch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up from 90Hz on Pulse 1. Ai+ said the change improves scrolling and overall responsiveness.
For durability, Pulse 2 has an IP64 rating for dust and splashes, compared with IP54 on Pulse 1.
Processor And Memory
Pulse 2 is powered by a Unisoc T7250 processor, with an octa-core design built on a 12nm process and clocked up to 1.8GHz. It uses LPDDR4x memory and eMMC storage, components commonly found in budget smartphones where cost and power efficiency are key constraints.
The display also supports 10-point touch and in-cell panel technology. Brightness is rated at 400 nits minimum and 450 nits typical, with high brightness mode support.
Software And OS Claims
Pulse 2 ships with Android 16 on NxtQuantum OS, compared with Android 15 on Pulse 1. Ai+ calls NxtQuantum OS "India's first sovereign mobile operating system" and says the update brings a cleaner interface and better system efficiency.
The company also framed the software as part of a broader emphasis on trust and privacy, describing its approach as "privacy-first", without sharing specific technical details.
Design And Colours
Pulse 2 adopts a revised design and comes in five colours: green, blue, pink, purple, and black. Ai+ said the changes are aimed at improved in-hand comfort and a simpler look.
The Pulse line is part of the brand's early-stage portfolio. Ai+ said it debuted in July 2025 with the Pulse and Nova 5G, and described Pulse 2 as a continuation of its focus on affordability and everyday usability.
Sheth said the new model was built around core features and a strong out-of-box experience.
"We've focused on the essentials that build confidence: a capable camera, a battery you can trust, and a smooth software experience right out of the box, so more users can step up without stretching their budget," said Sheth.
