Securonix & Orient ally to expand AI security in India

Tue, 16th Dec 2025

Securonix has formed a strategic partnership with Orient Technologies to expand the deployment of AI-based security information and event management systems across India.

The agreement focuses on Securonix's Unified Defence SIEM product and targets customers that operate modern Security Operations Centres. The companies plan to sell to both private and public-sector organisations.

Securonix specialises in SIEM platforms that use artificial intelligence, analytics and machine learning. Orient Technologies runs managed security services and broader IT solutions in the Indian market.

The companies said the partnership focuses on the rapid growth in cyber threats in India. They highlighted increased digital transformation, rising complex attacks, and regulatory pressures on organisations.

Orient Technologies will act as a managed security services partner for Securonix in India. It will also combine its consulting and integration services with the SIEM platform.

Securonix said it plans to use Orient Technologies' local market knowledge and customer network. It aims to widen adoption of its AI-driven approach to threat detection and response.

Dipesh Kaura, Country Director, India & SAARC, Securonix, said rising demand for security skills is driving joint offerings between global vendors and regional providers.

"The growing digital transformation, surge in cyberattacks, evolving regulatory compliance and shortage of cybersecurity talent drive strategic collaborations that deliver meaningful impact. Orient Technologies' local expertise and established network across India make it an ideal partner for Securonix as we bring our Unified Defence SIEM powered by Agentic AI to businesses here," said Dipesh Kaura, Country Director, India & SAARC, Securonix.
"This alliance marks a significant step toward helping more enterprises address advanced security threats while establishing a resilient and intelligent cybersecurity ecosystem across the region."

Securonix said the alliance forms part of its broader growth strategy in India. The company already serves large enterprises, including financial institutions and healthcare providers.

Its Unified Defence SIEM product runs in the cloud. It uses AI models and analytics that correlate data from multiple sources inside an organisation. It then alerts security teams to suspicious activity.

The product focuses on reducing the mean time to respond to security incidents. It also supports reporting to boards and regulators.

The company said it expects demand from organisations that operate security operations centres but face staff shortages. It also expects interest from customers who outsource security monitoring to managed service providers.

Orient Technologies provides managed security services, infrastructure integration and IT consulting across India. It has a network of enterprise and mid-market customers in sectors such as manufacturing, services and government.

The company said it plans to offer the Securonix SIEM platform as part of its existing security portfolio. It will also use the product's modular design for staged rollouts at large customers.

India has seen a rapid increase in cyber incidents in recent years. Attacks have included data breaches, ransomware, AI-enabled intrusions and targeted malware campaigns.

New regulations and sector-specific guidelines have placed more emphasis on monitoring, reporting and incident response. Organisations have sought tools that centralise security data and automate parts of investigative workflows.

Companies in India have also reported difficulties in hiring and retaining skilled cyber professionals. As a result, many have turned to managed security service providers.

Orient Technologies said the collaboration with Securonix fits with this shift towards outsourced monitoring and detection.

"The open collaborative ecosystem of Securonix is built to empower MSSPs with AI-reinforced threat detection, while delivering unmatched value to joint customers. By partnering with Securonix, a Gartner leader for SIEM capabilities, we will be well-equipped to deliver unmatched, advanced cybersecurity solutions to customers across India. With the Securonix SIEM platform, which is modular and outcome-driven, we will be able to provide customers with best-in-class threat coverage at scale," said Shrihari Bhat, Chief Executive Officer, Orient Technologies.

The partners said they will focus on sectors facing frequent attacks. They named financial services, government departments and large corporations as early priorities.

Securonix said it expects further growth in its Indian operations as more organisations adopt AI-based security monitoring. It plans ongoing joint initiatives with Orient Technologies around implementation, managed services and customer education.
