Payfuture and Payouts.com have partnered to support local payouts in India, one of Payouts.com's busiest payment corridors.

The arrangement allows Payouts.com to use Payfuture's local payment infrastructure for transfers into India, moving payouts over local rails rather than through correspondent banking chains.

India has become a major destination for cross-border business payments, including transfers to vendors, contractors and other recipients. Companies sending money into the market often face local payment preferences, regulatory requirements and settlement systems that differ from those in other regions.

Under the partnership, Payouts.com customers will be able to send funds into India with faster settlement and lower transaction costs. Recipients will be paid through methods commonly used in the market, including UPI and direct bank transfers.

India corridor

Payouts.com described India as one of its most active and fastest-growing corridors, with rising customer demand increasing the need for speed, reliability and compliance in the market.

The move to local rails is intended to reduce delays associated with multi-step international transfer routes. Removing intermediary institutions can also lower fees and reduce the risk of payment failures.

For businesses using the platform, the change is meant to make payouts into India more dependable. For recipients, it offers quicker access to funds through familiar domestic payment methods.

The partnership also reflects a broader push by payments firms to build local connections in emerging markets rather than rely solely on international banking networks. In fast-growing corridors, local payment access has become a differentiator as businesses seek better settlement times and fewer operational issues.

Payfuture focuses on payment infrastructure in emerging markets. Payouts.com operates a financial operations platform for businesses that need to send money to recipients in multiple countries.

Manpreet Haer outlined Payfuture's role in the partnership.

"We're delighted to partner with Payouts.com to power local payouts in India. Our infrastructure is built to move funds into the world's fastest-growing markets reliably and at scale, and through this partnership we're helping Payouts.com serve their customers and recipients in India with the speed and dependability they expect," said Manpreet Haer, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Payfuture.

Leor Ceder explained why Payouts.com chose the arrangement.

"Our customers in the online economy pay recipients all around the world, including across a vast array of emerging markets. To ensure it's a fast, frictionless experience that local customers love and aligns with their unique local payment preferences and needs, we partner with top-tier local partners. We're proud to be doing exactly that with Payfuture," said Leor Ceder, Chief Executive Officer of Payouts.com.

Broader tie-up

The India agreement marks the start of a wider relationship between the two companies. The broader aim is to combine Payouts.com's international platform with Payfuture's local market infrastructure and expertise in other high-growth emerging markets.

That approach points to a structural change in cross-border payments. Businesses that once accepted slower transfers and higher fees in difficult corridors now want local settlement options, clearer compliance processes and payment methods that match recipient behaviour in each market.

In India, this is especially relevant because the country's digital payments ecosystem has developed quickly and domestic users have strong preferences for how money is received. Global platforms that fail to connect with those systems can face delays, higher costs and a weaker recipient experience.

By adding local payout access in India, Payouts.com aims to strengthen its position in a market where customer demand is already growing. For Payfuture, the deal expands its role as an infrastructure provider for cross-border payment flows into emerging markets.

The partnership is designed to help businesses move from simply sending money into India to operating more effectively within the country's payment environment.
