Gallagher & Luxriot join forces on US security platform

Gallagher Security and Luxriot have formed a partnership in the United States centred on Luxriot's Operational Intelligence Platform.

The partnership combines Gallagher's Command Centre with Luxriot's video and operational intelligence software through a bi-directional interface. The set-up is designed to bring video, data, events and access control into a single operational view.

Gallagher and Luxriot are targeting customers that manage complex, geographically dispersed sites, particularly in regulated environments. The platform is intended to help operators view information from across a network in context rather than dealing with separate alerts in isolation.

The arrangement extends Gallagher's reach in the US market by linking its security management system with Luxriot's video technology. It also reflects continued demand in the security sector for systems that combine physical access control with live monitoring and broader operational oversight.

Integrated platform

Under the partnership, Luxriot EVO's Operational Intelligence Platform will connect directly with Command Centre. The interface allows operators to monitor assets and activity from a single environment while using existing infrastructure.

The focus is on bringing together operational information that is often handled in separate systems. In practice, this means security teams can view access control events alongside video and other network data within one workflow.

Gallagher said the system is suited to environments where users need a broad view of operations across multiple sites. These can include organisations with strict compliance requirements and large physical footprints, where fragmented information can slow response times.

Jeff Fields, Regional Vice President, Sales - US East, LATAM and Federal Markets, Gallagher Security, outlined the intended use case for the partnership.

The platform goes beyond issuing individual event alerts by drawing together wider network information and presenting it to operators. That approach, the companies said, can reduce the need for staff to search through separate systems when assessing incidents or operational issues.

US focus

The announcement highlights the importance both groups place on the US security market. Gallagher has an established position in access control and site security, while Luxriot specialises in video management and operational intelligence software.

By linking those systems, the companies are offering a combined product to US customers looking to manage security and monitoring functions in one place. The emphasis on existing infrastructure may also appeal to organisations seeking to avoid replacing large parts of their installed systems.

For Gallagher, the tie-up adds another layer to its software ecosystem in a market where integration has become a key purchasing factor. For Luxriot, the arrangement provides a way to pair its operational intelligence software with a recognised access control platform used in more complex security settings.
