Eventus Security has won the Masters of Risk - Services category at the India Risk Management Awards Season 12. CNBC-TV18 presented the award in association with ICICI Lombard.

The recognition follows another recent honour for the company, which was also named the 2026 Community Choice Winner for Cybersecurity Service Provider of the Year at the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

The India Risk Management Awards honour reflects Eventus Security's work with organisations seeking to align cybersecurity more closely with broader risk management and resilience efforts. The company provides managed cybersecurity services across India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the United States.

Eventus Security was selected from a competitive field of nominations following evaluation by a jury. The awards recognise organisations for risk management practices, innovation and contributions to resilient business environments.

Broader risk

The award comes as companies face cyber threats that increasingly overlap with operational disruption, regulatory scrutiny and business continuity concerns. That shift has led many businesses to treat cybersecurity as part of a broader risk framework rather than as a standalone technology issue.

Eventus Security's service portfolio includes managed security operations, managed detection and response, cyber threat intelligence, digital forensics and incident response, vulnerability management, red teaming, breach and attack simulation, application security and cyber resilience services.

Its work combines round-the-clock security operations with intelligence-led monitoring and response. The company also uses AI-based systems in service delivery, alongside teams focused on identifying threats, investigating incidents and helping clients prepare for disruption.

Across the industry, service providers have been adapting their offerings as clients seek earlier threat detection and faster incident response. Demand has also risen for services that connect technical monitoring with governance, compliance and resilience planning.

Company response

Vikas Somani commented on the award and the broader market backdrop.

"Cyber risk today is closely connected with operational continuity, regulatory exposure and business resilience. Organisations need more than individual security controls; they need the ability to anticipate threats, respond decisively and continue operating with confidence. At Eventus Security, we bring together intelligence, technology and human expertise to help customers manage this complexity. The 'Masters of Risk - Services' recognition is a testament to the dedication of our teams and the trust our customers and partners place in us," said Vikas Somani, VP - India Sales, Eventus Security.

The company's recent run of awards suggests that judges and industry bodies are placing more weight on the link between cyber defence and enterprise risk management. In practice, that means providers are being assessed not only on threat monitoring and incident handling, but also on how their services support continuity and preparedness.

Eventus Security has positioned itself around that overlap, arguing that cyber threats can no longer be separated from business operations. Its offering is centred on services designed to give clients visibility into risks, support incident response and help reduce exposure over time.

The company's footprint outside India also points to wider regional demand for managed cybersecurity services. Organisations in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and the US have been increasing spending on external security support as threat volumes rise and in-house skills remain difficult to secure.

For Eventus Security, the latest award reinforces its standing in a market where buyers are seeking providers that can address both security incidents and the business risks that follow.

The India Risk Management Awards recognise organisations that have demonstrated strong risk management practices, driven innovation and contributed to the development of resilient business environments.
