With over 4,000 applications received, it leverages a successful model based on SmartBear's Developer Academy in Poland and includes a mix of in-classroom, online, and practical learning for career progression. Features of the program include diverse project planning collaborations with developers, automation engineers, product managers, and UI/UX designers.
The Developer Academy program in Poland proved highly effective, with a 91% conversion of interns into full-time employees. Encouragingly, the Academy also showed a trend towards greater diversity, with women making up nearly 20% of the first 2023 class and 36% in the following class. Here in Bangalore, SmartBear is now collaborating with local universities, institutions, and regional channel partners to attract the best and most diverse new talent to their program.
Graduates from SmartBear's DevOps Academy in Bangalore earn placement in one of the company's award-winning product groups, which include test management and automation, API development, and application stability.
