Logic unveils AZ Series display to boost classroom AI learning

Today

Logic has introduced the AZ Series, an interactive display designed to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) tools within classroom environments.

The AZ Series is positioned as a solution for educators seeking to combine AI capabilities with interactive teaching hardware. The display incorporates a suite of AI-driven features intended to automate administrative tasks and enhance student engagement during lessons.

According to Logic, the AZ Series includes the Intelligent Context Engine, which allows educators to highlight any element on the screen and automatically receive relevant visual aids, historical context, and curriculum-aligned explanations. For instance, the display can convert a rough sketch on the board into a detailed diagram and supply contextual information, such as labelling the cross-section of a cell with its organelles.

Another feature, Universal Communication Hub, supports live subtitles with real-time translation in multiple languages. The system is designed to preserve subject-specific terminology and can automatically segment lecture recordings into searchable chapters, each with key concept summaries.

The Adaptive Content Creation tools enable teachers to transform handwritten brainstorming into structured lesson outlines. The Smart Test Builder component generates quizzes compliant with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) standards, offering balanced difficulty levels. An AI Solver function demonstrates various approaches to solving maths and science problems, showing the step-by-step working for each method.

The AZ Series also provides several professional-grade tools. Its Text Scanner converts handwritten notes or textbook pages into editable digital content. Smart Mapping automatically transforms lecture notes into visual mind maps during classes, while the AI Topics feature expands core terms into frameworks suitable for class debates or discussion sessions.

Logic stated that the AZ Series is developed to meet institutional requirements. It holds Google EDLA certification to provide full compatibility with the Android operating system and adherence to enterprise security standards. The device can support 50 simultaneous touch points and 20 writing points, allowing for comprehensive class participation. Each point is claimed to respond with near-instant precision.

The durability of the AZ Series is underscored by testing for resistance to over 100,000 touch cycles, a threshold aimed at addressing the constant usage seen in classroom settings. The AZ Series features a proprietary thermal management system to ensure reliable performance during extended periods of use. This system is intended to maintain even heat distribution across the display, reducing the risk of hotspots or degradation over time.

In terms of security, Logic noted that secure firmware locking is incorporated to protect against unauthorised modifications. This measure is designed to preserve the integrity of established teaching workflows and comply with institutional IT policies.

As part of its AV product portfolio, Logic offers digital signage, interactive flat panels, active LED displays, and a range of connectivity, mounting, and projection solutions.
