Networking solutions provider, Ataya, is expanding its universal connectivity platform for industrial networks, Harmony, into four new international markets - Korea, Japan, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Puneet Sethi, SVP of Products at Ataya, explained that the expansion is due to Harmony's success and the significant customer demand it attracted worldwide after its launch in February 2023.
Harmony's universal connectivity has received global interest from Tier 1 global manufacturers and enterprises, noted Sethi. The customer base includes an Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) deployment at the ADLink Smart Factory, a 5G based Augmented Reality entertainment system at Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, and Japanese partners Marubun and Accuver. The expansion will enable Ataya "to serve the growing demand and existing customers" and provide competitive advantage to their regional partners, including resellers and systems integrators globally, according to the company.
In the industrial segment, Ataya has partnered with ADLINK to introduce MicroRAN, a solution described by Stephen Huang, President, and COO of ADLINK, as "industry-leading for digital transformation in smart manufacturing". The technology has generated "substantial interest in the implementation of Universal Connectivity in industrial applications".
For the Taiwanese and Southeast Asian markets, Ataya is collaborating with Wave-in Communications Inc. Dr. Jay Huang, founder and chairman of Wave-in Communications Inc., said the features of the Harmony platform were "key to business" and that several "deployments with Harmony" had already taken place. Furthermore, the alliance with Ataya enables them to provide a robust multi-tenant platform that scales their reseller and MSP business.
Quanta Computer Incorporated also finds value in Harmony's "enterprise-friendly management system and zero-trust security", as they meet diverse customer needs. Steve Cheng, VP & GM of Quanta Computer Incorporated, observed that their relationship with Ataya was progressing beyond the Harmony product to integrate Quanta RAN management capabilities and the recently announced Chorus product.
The expansion into Korea and Japan brings a partnership with Accuver Group. CEO Jimmy Kim expressed excitement about partnering with Ataya to widen their portfolio to private network solutions. The resonance of Universal Connectivity features with their clientele base made Accuver's Q-5G Harmony a complete end-to-end solution for private networks.
For the European market, Opticoms CEO, Johann S. Schmid, noted how Atayas’s Harmony solution stood apart due to its Universal Connectivity and focus on MSP capabilities. Their decision to collaborate with Ataya is already yielding results for their business and they are looking to establish a strategic relationship within the EMEA region, he says.
