Walgo Infra powers Vodafone Idea’s 5G rollout across Karnataka

Walgo Infra has provided critical infrastructure support for Vodafone Idea's recent launch of 5G services in Karnataka, enabling the telecom operator to extend next-generation connectivity across urban and rural areas throughout the state.

Sridhar Rao, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Walgo Infra, worked closely with Vodafone Idea as the company expanded its 5G network to new regions, helping Karnataka join other Indian states already covered by Airtel and Jio's 5G services. Vodafone Idea aims to continue its rollout, targeting every district and taluk in Karnataka.

Karnataka focus

Additionally, Walgo Infra implemented advanced 5G and data services at Mysore Medical College during its centenary celebrations, a move anticipated to enhance digital resources for students, staff, and patients.

Future plans

Walgo Infra is preparing to launch Air Fibre services and intends to collaborate with satellite internet providers, an effort aimed at extending high-speed connectivity further into the region. The company is also researching the integration of artificial intelligence into its network management, aiming to boost efficiency and security across its operations.
