'Happiest Minds inspires at the seventh annual Blitz tech festival'
Happiest Minds Technologies recently hosted the seventh annual Blitz tech festival, demonstrating the company's mission to ignite, inspire, and innovate. This year's Blitz was held at St. John's Auditorium, Bengaluru and drew the participation of over 5,000 Happiest Mind employees from across multiple locations such as Noida, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Madurai, and Coimbatore.
The grand occasion was graced by esteemed personalities, including Ashok Soota (Executive Chairman), Venkatraman Narayanan (MD & CFO), Joseph Anantharaju ( Executive Vice Chairman), Ram Mohan (President & CEO of IMSS), Sridhar Mantha (President & CEO of GBS), Priya Kanduri (Senior Vice President and CTO, IMSS), and Aurobinda Nanda (President – Operations & Deputy Chief Executive Officer, PES).
Informative sessions were provided by the chief guest, Dr. Kris Gopalakrishna, Axilor Ventures Chairman, Infosys Co-founder, and the President of the Infosys Science Foundation (ISF).
Joseph Anantharaju kick-started the programme by underscoring the significance of technology for business growth and made mention of Blitz's journey since its inception in 2014. Dr. Kris further supplemented this by reflecting on the role of technology in his life and impressing upon the audience the indispensable need for reading and continuous learning. Sridhar Mantha delivered the tech note, focussing on 'Top 10 Strategic Technology Trends 2024'.
Ashok Soota, during his closing remarks, applauded the team for organising what he considered to be 'the best Blitz ever' and outlined his aspirations for the future of the company.
Serving as a cosmopolitan platform for innovation-focused events, Blitz 2024 encompassed 11 events, including Tech Quiz, Innovation Talks, Tech Debate, Ideation, Vlog (specifically for women) and others, concluding with the Blitz Grand Finale. The Trailblazers emerged victorious as the Champions of Blitz 2024, racking up an impressive 644 points.
Blitz 2024 also featured a 'Booth Day' on 10th January with 25 booths showcasing prototypes, ideas, and working models based on cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI, digital twin, and cybersecurity among others. 'iShop - Shopping Made Interactive', won the coveted top spot with its innovative interactive shopping concept. Digital Twin for Industrial Applications and Automotive ECU Test Automation Framework were declared the first and second runners-up, respectively.
