EasyDMARC appoints Allan Richards to boost global MSP growth

EasyDMARC has announced the appointment of Allan Richards as its new Global MSP Growth Lead.

Richards will work with EasyDMARC's international network of managed service providers (MSPs) to enhance their Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC) offerings. His responsibilities will include increasing revenue via email security solutions.

Richards is an experienced professional in cybersecurity channel sales, with nearly two decades in the field. Prior to joining EasyDMARC, he was at OpenText as Channel Sales Manager, where he managed the North American sales team, recruiting and training various channel partners. He previously worked more than ten years at AppRiver, which OpenText acquired in 2021, contributing significantly to successful channel sales strategies there.

As part of his new role at EasyDMARC, Richards is tasked with strengthening the company's global partner relationships, especially in the US, UK, and ANZ regions. He will focus on building strong connections with partners, ensuring a seamless onboarding and support experience, and providing necessary resources, including technical training and support, to empower partners in effectively marketing and selling DMARC solutions.

The hiring of Richards coincides with significant shifts in the email security regulatory landscape, marked by increasingly sophisticated AI-driven phishing threats. Following the successful DMARC implementation for bulk senders at Google and Yahoo, MSPs face increased pressure to offer robust security solutions to protect their clients from these escalating digital threats.

This development comes on the heels of EasyDMARC's conclusion of a USD $20M Series A funding round. The company confirmed its focus on channel growth as a central business strategy, announcing a series of initiatives and its ConnectWise platform integration to continue empowering MSPs.
