Primus & Data Safeguard unite to drive privacy & AI compliance
Primus Partners has formed a strategic alliance with Data Safeguard, aiming to deliver privacy management solutions, strengthen responsible AI frameworks, and support regulatory preparedness for governments and businesses in India, the Middle East, and the United States.
Partnership focus
The collaboration brings together Data Safeguard's patented CCE Responsible & Ethical AI engine and ID-PRIVACY platform with Primus Partners' expertise in public policy, digital transformation, and large-scale implementation. As regulatory environments become increasingly complex, the alliance aims to assist organisations in complying with evolving data protection laws, such as India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the Personal Data Protection Law in the Middle East, as well as established frameworks including the GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA/CPRA.
Compliance automation
Through this partnership, the two firms aim to help clients automate key data privacy and compliance processes. Targeted areas include consent management, Data Protection Impact Assessments, data discovery, Data Subject Access Requests, and workflows related to purpose limitation. The ultimate aim is to accelerate compliance with global data protection mandates while laying the groundwork for responsible and transparent AI systems.
Privacy as strategy
The alliance responds to growing investment by companies in data protection initiatives, with estimates suggesting around a quarter of digital budgets now dedicated to compliance. The shift reflects a broader move where privacy is no longer limited to regulatory necessity but has become integral to organisational strategy and digital trust.
Global landscape
More than 120 countries have now introduced or strengthened data protection legislation. As new regulations are enacted and existing laws are enforced, enterprises increasingly require tools and policies that not only ensure compliance but also support the ethical and transparent deployment of technology.
"As digital ecosystems expand, trust and accountability must form their core. Our collaboration with Data Safeguard brings together cutting-edge privacy automation technology with deep public policy and transformation capabilities. Together, we aim to empower governments and enterprises to adopt responsible AI, strengthen regulatory preparedness, and innovate with confidence," said Nilaya Varma, Group CEO & Co-Founder, Primus Partners.
Regulatory readiness
By linking technology with governance expertise, the alliance aims to address market demand for integrated privacy management. Priority areas include operationalising compliance across multiple jurisdictions, navigating differences between national and international standards, and mitigating risks associated with data use in AI applications.
"Our partnership with Primus Partners represents a powerful convergence of policy intelligence and advanced privacy engineering. As nations accelerate data protection reforms and enterprises embrace AI at scale, the need for automated, ethical, and regulation-ready digital ecosystems has never been stronger. By combining Primus Partners' deep institutional expertise with Data Safeguard's CCE Responsible & Ethical AI engine and ID-PRIVACY platform, we aim to help organisations embed trust, transparency, and accountability into their core digital infrastructure," said Sudhir Sahu, Founder & CEO, Data Safeguard.
