Bizcap acquires 8fig to expand AI-driven SME funding globally

Fri, 21st Nov 2025

Bizcap has acquired 8fig, bringing the AI-driven funding platform into its global group as part of its effort to expand technology-led business financing and strengthen its reach in non-bank lending.

Business integration

8fig, based in the US and founded in 2020, will maintain its independent operations and brand identity, with leadership remaining in place. The acquisition gives 8fig access to Bizcap's larger pool of capital, international reach and operational resources.

Bizcap operates in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe, and is preparing for further expansion into Mexico.

The group has collectively funded more than USD $3 billion to small and medium enterprises worldwide, with a product portfolio that includes working capital, lines of credit, and structured growth financing.

Technology focus

8fig's core platform applies artificial intelligence to underwriting and servicing. Its "AI CFO" tool is designed to help small businesses and eCommerce sellers plan and forecast more effectively. Since its founding, 8fig has provided over USD $500 million to online merchants.

The acquisition will see Bizcap incorporate 8fig's technology into its wider platform, allowing for quicker development of new financial products and improving access to longer-term, flexible capital for small businesses. These systems are set to strengthen Bizcap's automation and its ability to respond more accurately to business funding needs.

SME benefits

Clients and brokers active within Bizcap's network are expected to benefit from enhanced automation and more tailored funding options. This includes improved cash flow and growth planning, and access to business tools that use AI to manage inventory and financing needs.

With the integration of 8fig, Bizcap will increase the speed and flexibility of its lending processes. The expanded product suite will aim to deliver cheaper, faster capital to SMEs across diverse markets.

Leadership perspectives

"We're impressed not just by 8fig's technology, but by how it's built - with a strong focus on customer needs, adaptability, and long-term success," said Albert Gahfi, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Bizcap Global.

"8fig has the right platform, the right people, and the right mindset to make a global impact, and we're excited to combine that strength with Bizcap's reach and expertise to broaden our product offering and accelerate market penetration," said Gahfi.

"8fig turns complexity into speed, accuracy, and intelligence. Their innovation amplifies our mission to deliver fast, flexible capital and positions Bizcap at the forefront of the future of small business lending," said Zalman Blachman, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Bizcap Global.

"Our mission remains the same: empowering SMEs and eCommerce businesses to scale globally. With Bizcap's talented team beside us, we're ready to take that mission to new heights," said Yaron Shapira, CEO, 8fig.
